Wall of Appreciation for Our Volunteers and Donors

With the generous support from each and every one of our dedicated volunteers and donors we are able to help many of our families not only to meet essential daily needs but to work towards a brighter future. This is why contributions from our donors and volunteers make an incredible difference in what is available to our students. On behalf of the Greater Brunswick Charter School community we would like to thank you.

  • 1st Investors – Generous donations of time and money to help us with our playground build project. On going support since 2011 including donations throughout the year for the GBCS Food Pantry, Adopt-a- Family Holiday program and money donations to support our school .
  • Zsia Rosmarin – $1,000 donation for the Power of $80 luncheon and your time packing meals for our Backpack program with family and friends.
  • Shelly Hartz – Hosting a dress down day at your school the week before Thanksgiving to support our Backpack program.
  • Laura Schroff – Keynote speaker at the Power of $80 Luncheon to benefit our Backpack program.
  • Rutgers Prep (Danny Ittycheria, Kathie Rusyn and the 2013-2014 4th grade class) – Hosting a food drive for our GBCS Food Pantry.
  •  Jules Leopold – Donation of baked goods and fruits to benefit the Backpack program.
  • John Williams, Nicolas Minervini and Sophia Minervini – Running a lemonade and cupcake stand to benefit our Backpack program.
  • Debbie Turoczy – Donations of  candy centerpieces for the Power of $80 luncheon, board games for our families and the 170 boxes of Holiday Peeps for our Backpack program.
  • Alana & Daniel Sims – Donation of clothing for our families in need.
  • Stephan & Susan Leibowitz – Donation of clothing for our families in need.
  • NJKidsCare Committee of Blessings in a Backpack – On going donations of food for our GBCS Food Pantry and Backpack program, clothing, home goods, educational games, books and materials for our families, the Adopt-A-Family Holiday program and volunteering of their time to pack weekly for our 170  students that participate in the our program with their children, friends and families.
  • Rachel Freedberg – Hosting a Spring Sports Equipment drive for our school at her work place ( Nukk-Freeman & Cerra, P.C. , Chatham Executive Center  ) and volunteering her time with family and friends to pack for our Backpack program.
  • Catherine Binder- Donation of adult clothing for families in need.
  • Hillary’s Fashion Boutique – Donation of girls youth clothing for our Middle School students.
  • Beth A Martinez & Robert M Martinez – $100.00 donation to support our Family Learning Nights.
  • Bloomingdale’s – $2,500 donation to support our GBCS Community Food Pantry
  • Monica Mehta – Monthly Donations for our students in the Blessings in a Backpack Program.
  • Matthew  Minsch – High School student who sponsored a food drive in the fall of 2014 at a local A&P to assist the GBCS Community Food Pantry.
  • Connor Edge – High School student who sponsored a food drive in the fall of 2014 at a local A&P to assist the GBCS Community Food Pantry.
  • Abby Edge – High School student who sponsored a food drive in the fall of 2014 at a local A&P to assist the GBCS Community Food Pantry.
  • Luke Ittycheria- Middle School student who sponsored a ” Dress Down Day” during the 2013-2014 school year at Pingry to benefit the Blessings in a Backpack Program.
  • Danny Ittycheria- Elementary School student who sponsored a food drive during the 2013-2014 school year at Rutgers Prep to benefit the GBCS Community  Food Pantry
  • Foresters Financial -  for donating 500 spiral notebooks for our students and families at GBCS. 
  • Merrill Lynch Bank of America Corporation -  for donating $1,665 for our Blessings in a Backpack Program. 
  • R.A.H​. ​Donations of band-aids, lotion, toothpaste and soap for the GBCS Food Pantry in September 2015.  ​
  • Rutgers University Programming Association, New BrunswickOrganized a back-to-school on-campus service project in September 2015 and made 175 back to school goody bags for our students in the Blessings in a Backpack Program.  
  • Honors College – Rutgers University, New Brunswick - For conducting an event during the Scarlet Day of Service on Saturday, September 21, 2015. They made hygiene kits for the students that participated in our Blessings in a Backpack Program. 
  • Deva Craig & Family - Thank you for adopting 10 families during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
