	Greater Brunswick Charter School is a free, independent public school developed by area parents and educators in 1998 in accordance with New Jersey 's charter school law. It serves 293 children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Participating families come from three resident districts-- New Brunswick, Highland Park, and Edison -- plus 12 other school districts in Middlesex, Somerset, and Union counties. *** Announcements School will reopen Tuesday, January 5. Registration begins      Parents are reminded that 2010-11 student enrollments have begun. Food Pantry Now Open      Greater Brunswick Charter School has been approved as a food pantry site to receive food from Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services.      The pantry is open from 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays.
